Well...Reverse Auctions - The
concept of a reverse auction is welcomed as a refreshing new way of
shopping. Imagine how much more Succesful Ebay would be if every time
you bid, the price went down! Thats what makes the Dubli Auction Site
so amazing!
The Dubli concept started similar to eBay, but with a brilliant
twist. Its growth in Europe (where it started) has already surpassed
eBay back when it was initially introduced.
To Bid for an item you use a Dubli Credit which costs 80¢.
In exchange for the Credit, You get access to the current price of
that item. Each time you or anyone else bids on that item it goes down,
down, down! This applies to the Xpress Auctions!
The DubLi customer also
gets “entertainment” value in watching the price drop, which is
critical to the viral growth of the customer base.

Two Unique Auctions!
Xpress
Buy when the price is right...
All Items are displayed with a starting price that is valid at
the outset of an auction.
This price is the lowest RRP Dubli can find
on the internet. The current price is concealed until you click 'show price' which costs one credit. With each Credit placed, the price decreases, so the actual
price is always less than the starting price - often considerably!
When you place a credit, The current price will be displayed to
you. If you are happy with this price you have the option to 'BUY NOW'
If you want to wait a little while you can bid on it again to see if the price has dropped even further!
The auction can end at any time, when somebody decides that the "price is right" and purchases the item. The item will then be replaced and the Auction starts again!

Unique Bid
The lowest unique bid gets the item at that price! In this Reverse Auction, the item has a time limit. You can bid using
increments of $0.25, either one at a time, or a whole range of bid
amounts. To obtain this item you need to be the lowest Unique Bidder.
For a quick example, if you bid $1.50 for the item, with other bids like the following:
EX: 3 bids @ $0.25, 4 bids @ $0.50, 2 bids @ $0.75
Then 6 bids @$1.00, 3 bids @ $1.25, 1 bid @ $1.50 (YOU)
Then 2 bids @ $1.75, 1 bid @ $2.00
…then you would be WIN the item because you have the Lowest Unique Bid of $1.50. The purchase price is then only $1.50! |
